Jonah — Live DJ Set (Concert Video)
Role: Creative Director, Co-Producer, Casting Director, Co-Director
Date: August 24, 2025
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Event Description:
Hosted inside The Treehouse — a historic creative house once used by Kanye West — this project documents the last live concert ever staged before the venue closed. Produced in one week as a tribute to its creative legacy, the showcase unfolded as an intimate 30-guest tiny-desk–style event featuring two opposing performances: the moody rock world of Nate Horowitz & The Sinners and the vibrant electronic set from Jonah.
Mars oversaw the creative direction, casting, environment design, and production flow for both sessions, capturing the spirit of The Treehouse in its final chapter.
Jonah’s Set:
For Jonah’s performance, Mars shifted the room into a bright, lux, color-driven electronic atmosphere, creating a stark contrast from the rock set filmed minutes earlier.
The session was filmed from one intentional, anchored frame, reinforcing the tiny-desk–style intimacy while letting the shifting color palette, fog texture, and Jonah’s energy carry the visual rhythm. The result feels both polished and personal — a club-inspired world distilled into an intimate space.
