Amazon Prime Student x Wasserman Next Gen — Campus Marketing & Content Strategy

As a Prime Student Ambassador with Wasserman Next Gen, Mars executed a six-week omnichannel marketing campaign focused on driving Amazon Prime Student visibility and sign-ups across USC’s 47,147-student population. Her responsibilities included strategic content development, in-person outreach, and coordinated multi-platform execution supported by structured onboarding through Slack, Box, and CreatorIQ.


Throughout the Spring 2024 program, Mars produced weekly TikToks, Reels, and Instagram Stories aligned with Amazon’s brand objectives, using trend analysis, SEO-informed captioning, and platform performance insights to optimize reach and conversion.


Mars also played a central role in the campaign’s experiential presence on campus, facilitating daily student interactions and leading one of the campaign’s largest experiential touchpoints: the Prime Student activation at USC Springfest, the university’s biggest annual concert. She executed a full Prime Student activation footprint featuring sign-up stations, giveaways, interactive engagement zones, and real-time conversion support—reaching more than 1,000 students in a single day and serving as a major acquisition driver for the program.


Her work required strategic planning, real-time content execution, cross-platform messaging, data reporting, and weekly collaboration with Wasserman’s Next Gen team and a national cohort of 50+ ambassadors.


Key Achievements:



  • Executed a six-week integrated student marketing campaign that resulted in 2100+ new Prime Student sign-ups, surpassing weekly acquisition targets across USC

  • Led the Prime Student experiential activation at USC Springfest, engaging 1,000+ students in one day and driving a 12 percent same-day increase in sign-ups through high-traffic conversion points and interactive brand experiences

  • Conducted ongoing on-campus outreach throughout the campaign, generating 2,000+ in-person engagements through tabling, giveaways, peer-to-peer outreach, and live sign-up support across major USC foot traffic zones

  • Produced weekly platform-native TikTok and Instagram content achieving 56,000 views, 14,000 unique accounts reached, and a 59.3 percent new-audience rate, significantly expanding Prime Student awareness among Gen Z students

  • Applied SEO-informed captioning, optimized posting schedules, and trend-driven creative strategy to increase digital engagement by 15 percent and drive meaningful traffic to Prime Student sign-up pages

  • Collaborated with 50+ ambassadors nationwide, contributing weekly analytics reports and creative insights that supported campaign optimization and final program evaluation for Wasserman
